  ASB stands for Associated Educatee Torso and represents the interests of all Briggs K-8 scholars. Students who participate in ASB foster a positive atmosphere during the school 24-hour interval which encourages students to feel connected to their schoolhouse. Briggs' ASB students aspire to ensure a well-rounded Thousand-8 experience though collaboration, planning and organizing activities such as dances, Spirit Days, assemblies, and community projects throughout the year. Our ASB students are mentored by Mrs. Collins.

  Briggs' Advancement Via Individual Determination (AVID) Programme, is a College Readiness System dedicated to preparing all students for college, career and other postsecondary choices. Students receive a rigorous programme of instruction in academic "survival skills" and higher level readiness skills. The AVID program teaches students how to written report, read for content, take notes, and manage time. Students participate in collaborative study groups or tutorials led by tutors who use proficient questioning to bring students to a higher level of understanding. We love Mrs. Bader, our Gorging Coordinator!

• Project Lead The Way (PLTW) 6-eight Gateway (GTW)
